Actress and television show host Sonali Bendre lost track of her car when she went to attend an event in the recent past. According to reports in the media, Sonali Bendre visited a hotel in Mumbai to attend an event when she lost sight of her car and her driver! What followed was a trauma for the actress and her aides who reportedly went on a search for the lost car, searching every nook and corner from the Marine Drive to the Churchgate area in Mumbai.
Media reports claim that Sonali Bendre first called her driver at the end of the event, but since his mobile network was unavailable, the actress herself decided to search for her car in the parking space of the hotel in Mumbai. However, the long search ended in futility. Neither the car nor the driver were to be seen anywhere, convincing the actress that her driver had stolen her car which was worth crores of rupees.
And just when Sonali Bendre returned to the hotel premises to call the police, then she sees standing on the hotel steps is her driver, completely unaware of the trauma his employer had to go through for the past couple of hours! Last heard, Sonali Bendre’s driver had dozed off inside the car, not realizing that his mobile phone was also switched off when he was busy enjoying his slumber.
The incident was indeed hilarious but we still do not know whether the Bollywood beauty had the spunk to laugh over it after fearing a car loss for more than an hour!

Karan Johar may have put them in the war field, but another director will bring peace between them. We are talking about the two warring ladies Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. It was on the sets of ‘Koffee With Karan’ that Deepika spilt the beans on the reason of her break-up with Ranbir Kapoor, indirectly blaming a certain Katrina Kaif. However, with the leggy lass moving forward in life, she is now prepared to work with her rival too. And the man behind creating the miracle is none other than Sajid Khan, who has reportedly received a positive reply from both the heroines to star in his next film, a sequel to the super hit Housefull.

In fact, Rani Mukerji has said in a statement to the media that she will be very happy if her upcoming film gets an adult certificate!

 

The actress plays a crime reporter in the film and according to what Rani Mukerji has said in her interviews to the media, it is only her character in the film which does not have any connection to the real life incident surrounding Delhi based model Jessica Lal. Rani Mukerji’s fictional character, Meera, signifies how aggressive the media in India can be and how at times they can take up the reins of justice in their own hands. The bold and fearless attitude of Meera was what attracted Rani Mukerji towards the role and she agreed to play it for the big screen.
Joining Rani Mukerji in ‘No One Killed Jessica’ is actress Vidya Balan. She plays Jessica Lal’s real life sister Sabrina in the film. The title of the film and its incidents are inspired from an article in The Times Of India after the accused in the Jessica Lal murder case were acquitted in the year 2006.

Director Anees Bazmee approached Dutt with the script of the film when Sanjay was shooting for Blue in Krabi Island (Thailand). Sources revealed that Sanjay agreed to do the film within just 10 minutes of hearing the narration of the story. Bazmee took the actor at mid-sea on his private yacht and narrated the story. As soon as Sanju agreed to be a part of the project, they had a gala dinner with everyone on the yacht and all relished some fabulous barbeque to celebrate Dutt’s working with Anees Bazmee.
Anees jokingly said that when both the superstars Anil and Sanjay share the screen they must be thinking that how the other became so big star. On the sets of No Problem, there was no problem for ‘ghar ka khana’ as Akshay Khanna used to carry the most delicious food from his house every day and others used to devour them. Sanjay Leela Bhansali made his directorial debut movie Khamoshi: The Musical with Salman Khan in 1996. The film was a Box Office flop but went on receiving many awards. So Bhansali made his second film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999 again with Salman Khan opposite the beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It turned out to a big Box Office hit but the same success story could not be repeated with Bhansali and Salman again in next 11 years from then.
Bhansali and Salman were in good terms till these years and both admired each other’s work until recently. There is a report that Bhansali got the idea of starting work on Guzaarish after Salman gufted him a DVD of Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Prestige’. But when the director started the film, he signed Hrithik Roshan in spite of Salman and the reason was obvious. The lost chemistry between Salman and Aishwarya led the filmmaker to look for an alternative choice.
However, this has not probably gone well with the Dabangg Khan. There is a buzz that Salman is talking all rubbish about the film as well as the director Bhansali. He was also reportedly criticizing Bhansali for not showing the respect to his earlier works and not considering him for the film.

Bhojpuri superstar Manoj Tiwari is now ruing over a tweet of actor Arbaaz Khan which said, "I would try save Ashmit by sending a SMS," insinuating that the Khan brothers Salman (the host of the reality show) and Arbaaz, have ‘scripted’ his eviction from Bigg Boss. Manoj is also learnt to have told a television channel that his eviction could be a ‘conspiracy’ against Bhojpuri actors.

"Mr Tiwari is singling out Arbaaz just because he is unable to digest his defeat opposite Ashmit Patel and probably feels the need to blame someone for it. If Arbaaz tweeted, what’s wrong about it? Doesn’t Arbaaz have his own identity, independent of Salman Khan? Just because he is Salman’s brother, can Manoj Tiwari hold him guilty for tweeting? By doing so, he’s being a petty superstar," reacted Ashmit’s publicist Dale Bhagwagar.

In his moment of embarrassment, Manoj seems to have conveniently missed out the fact that Karan Johar, Amisha Patel, Manyata and Sanjay Dutt, Farah Khan, Ali Merchant, Hrishant Goswami, Ishq Bector and a host of Bollywood people, along with Ashmit’s growing fan-following, put in their bit to help him win the round opposite the Bhojpuri superstar. We are aware how most of them SMS’d, emailed, posted messages on their Blackberry Messengers, Twitter and Facebook and even spread the word-of-mouth.

Moreover, the biggest chunk of votes must have come from Gujarat, where a mass SMS campaign called ‘Save Aapno Gujjubhai’ (Save Our Gujjubhai) was conducted in the state by Ashmit’s managing team.

Inspite of this, fans of Manoj Tiwari have burnt effigies of Salman Khan in Patna. Manoj Tiwari Fan Club president Manish Kumar, along with some 20-25 supporters, protested against eviction of their superstar and claimed that Bigg Boss had ‘insulted’ the 26-crore Bhojpuri community.

Salman Khan’s career seems to have taken an upswing for the better after the super success of Wanted and Dabangg. He has numerous projects coming his way, and one of his upcoming films is Prem Soni’s I Am Hariprasad.

Reports also stated a tiff between Sallu and Piggy Chops for this reason. Now the news is that Soni is still keen on Priyanka and would be signing her up opposite Salman. And this time it’s not a love story he has to offer. I Am Hariprasad is supposedly the story of a Godman with loads of masala, drama and entertainment.

Let’s hope that after great performances together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Salaam-e–Ishq and God Tussi Great Ho, the audiences get to see these two fab actors onscreen together again.

Vishal Bhardwaj offered Bollywood director Karan Johar the role of a sex manic and wife-beater husband of Priyanka Chopra in ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’. KJo was bewildered to get such an offer and said, “From what angle do I look like a wife-beater? And how could I enact a scene making love to Priyanka Chopra! And that too as a sex maniac! There is no way I could do this.”
News has it that KJo was horrified at the character he was offered to play, but his horror did not stop Irrfan Khan from playing that role! It is believed that had Karan been a part of the film, it would have been the most unusual casting.
Vishal Bhardwaj did not talk to Karan directly but sent feelers through Piggie Chops. According to sources “Vishal requested his heroine to put in a word. She promptly did. As soon as Karan heard about the casting offer, he was mighty amused initially. But then wondered how on earth he could essay a wife beater!”

If the news of the dynamic duo of Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra playing the lead in the remake of yesteryear’s ‘Agneepath’ was not enough, the latest development to this story is the addition of Sanjay Dutt for the iconic role of Kancha Cheena played by Danny Denzongpa in the original version. Earlier, Rishi Kapoor was approached for the bad man’s role. But the veteran actor declined the offer following a skirmish over KJo’s talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’ recently.
Dutt is super excited about his role. However, KJo is not talking about it right now as he plans to make a big announcement soon. Also he doesn`t want Rishi to know right now that he has been replaced as Kapoor is likely to go off on another tirade against him
This remake of Agneepath is to be directed by debutant Karan Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Hrithik and Sanju shared screen space earlier in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Mission Kashmir almost 10 years ago.

Anees Bazmi’s ‘No Problem’ and Yashraj Film`s ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ clash as both the films are slated for a Dec 10 release. The viewers are kept awaited in the suspense that which movie would be left in problem and which one would be welcomed with a band baaja!

“I don’t believe in lucky dates, but I do believe in commitments. We had decided to release ‘No Problem’ on Dec 10 long ago. I have three releases next year, so I needed to get the film out of the way this year,” says Anees.
“We worked at breakneck speed to finish ‘No Problem’ and announced our release date months ago. It was only later that I heard ‘Band Baja Baraat’ is coming on the same date,” added the hyperactive director.
This isn’t the fist time when we see a clash in two big-budgeted films. ‘Golmaal 3’ and ‘Action Replayy’ released on Diwali this year and one of them had to taste the ground!
 
Anees admitted his unhappiness with the clash. “It’s never advisable to bring two big films on the same day. If anyone, then they should move because we locked in the date first. But I think Yashraj is superstitious about the second week of December because their ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ released during the same week in 2008 and was a hit.”
“When my producer Vipul Shah decided to add an extra n in `king` for ‘Singh Is Kinng’ I told him please add one more `n` if it helps the box-office. It’s the product that matters. I know we have a fabulously funny film in “No Problem” and I am sure ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ is also a terrific film. If a clash is not avoided, then I’ll pray for both films,” Anees says as he believes in work more than luck.
Yashraj camp is in no mood for postponement and feels that there is enough space at the box office for both the films.

The 10th edition of the Miss Earth beauty pageant was held in Vinpearl Land, Nha Trang, Vietnam on December 4, 2010.


Miss Puerto Rico Yeidy Bosquez was announced Miss Earth Fire and Miss Ecuador Jennifer Pazmino won the Miss Earth Air title. Miss Thailand Watsaporn Wattanakoon grabbed the Miss Earth Water crown.

Miss India World 2010, Manasvi Mamgai expressed her joy saying, “I feel very happy for her. This is the only title India has won this year, so it’s great. Nicole has got the looks, so we all had expectations that she would win.”

Before winning the contest, Nicole had said in an interview, “I want to make friends and enjoy my time in Vietnam. It’s not about winning or losing, but how you play the game.”

Manish Acharya Dies- Bollywood is shocked by the death of young director Manish Acharya. The 40 year old actor-director Manish Acharya left for his heavenly abode yesterday.
Hrithik Roshan tweeted “It’s sad to hear about Manish Acharya… RIP”. Priyanka Chopra posted “My friend, future director, super funny wannabe beach bum and unbelievable human being. @ManishAcharya .RIP. Im too shocked to say more (sic).”
Sonam Kapoor tweeted from Patiala, “Just found out about @ManishAcharya what a horrible horrible tragedy. Met him before coming here. Love and condolences to his family.”
He died in an accident after falling from a horse in Matheran. He was on a holiday tour in Matheran along with his wife and children.
Acharya hit himself in the head after falling from the horse after which he was straightaway taken to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
His rose to fame with “Lions of Punjab” and “Luck By Chance”.

Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha might be just one film old in Bollywood but she is already laying down conditions and making sure she doesn’t miff her mentor Salman Khan in anyway. The actress, whose career decisions are largely taken by Salman, has told the makers of ‘Race 2’ that she under no conditions would don revealing clothes or do any bedroom scenes for the film.
 

Confirming the news, a source told a daily, “It’s like a clause. Sonakshi was polite but clear that she won’t expose in ‘Race 2’. The first version of the ‘Race’ series was quite steamy. But the second version is even steamier. Sonakshi was told about this, so she laid down her cards on the table.”

What’s more is that Sonakshi has refused to fall the age old trick where the directors state that such explicit scenes are necessary as the script demands it.
