On Thursday, Bollywood Star Salman Khan was at a blood donation camp, organized on the occasion of the birthday of Maharashtra deputy chief minister, Ajit Pawar and to pay tribute to the Mumbai bomb blast victims. The actor donated blood too.
Hailing the cause, the actor said, “Blood has no religion, and it is the most precious gift a human being can give.”
Salman Khan was the highlight of the event. The venue was croweded with Thousands of Salman fans. Around 7000 people donated blood, said the organizers of the camp.
“We have been organising blood donation camps for the last three years. Every year, the numbers are increasing and this time, it has created a record of sorts,” said MLC of the camp. . .
He added, “every donor was given a pen-drive as an encouragement”

Salman Khan has been in a generous mood lately. On Monday night, he gifted his Bodyguard co-star Raj Babbar a Merc!
It was a belated birthday gift for the star politician after the shoot of the film wrapped up in Patiala. Babbar’s birthday was on June 23.
Says a source, “Raj Babbar was taken by surprise. He was, in fact, shocked when he saw the vehicle.”
The car is silver in colour and the number plate adds up to five the number Babbar prefers.
Sallu along with his sister Alvira and her hubby Atul Agnihotri (Bodyguard’s producer) had been planning the surprise for the past fortnight.
When asked about Sallu’s gesture, Raj Babbar’s daughter Juhi says, “Yes, Bhai did gift dad a car.”
The star MP had been roped in Bodyguard at the last minute to essay the role of Kareena Kapoor’s father. He had replaced Shatrughan Sinha, who cited a busy schedule and opted out of the project.
Adds the source, “It was also, Sallu’s way of showing his gratitude to Babbar, who had agreed to be part of the film at such short notice.”
Interestingly, the Babbar-Khan friendship goes a long way. Babbar and Sallu’s father Salim Khan have know each other for decades.
In November 2009, Salman had specially flown to Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh to campaign for Raj Babbar, who was contesting the parliamentary by-elections...

Now, this could be a veritable test of Salman Khan’s true grit. Brother Sohail Khan wants to put Salman Khan face-to-face with a real tiger while shooting his film Sher Khan.
Since the film touches upon the subject of wild life and the poaching of animals, it will be shot in the forests of Thailand with real animals. Sohail will also rely on visual effects and animatronics for many scenes.
Sohail Khan explains that a trained tiger will be hired for many scenes with Salman Khan. For the shots that require Salman’s close-up with the tiger, special effects will be used to create the tiger. For wide-angle shots, the real tiger will be used.
So far only the first draft of the film’s script is ready. Sohail says work is now underway on the storyboard after which he will take the call if the film should be made in 3D, as proposed, or not.
However, before beginning to shoot the film, Salman Khan will have to take special lessons from expert animal trainers in Thailand. After all, being with a tiger is no easy task, even for a spunky fellow like Salman.

Kangana Ranaut has already spoiled her relations with the Dutts and now she wants to make sure that she maintains good relations in the industry. She was hanging out with her friends late at night and when she heard that Salman Khan was shooting at Filmistan Studios for ‘Bodyguard’, she dropped in to meet him. She was seen waiting patiently and chatted with Khan’s friends and brother-in-law, producer, Atul Agnihotri. Sallu joined them soon after. She was there on the sets for about four hours and was later spotted leaving in Khan’s car.
Salman and Kangana have been growing close slowly but steadily since past one year. Ranaut was to act in Salman’s home production directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. However, things did not work out and the film was shelved. Kangna was the only actress who attended Salman’s wrap-up party at his Panvel farmhouse. She has also made a special appearance for Salman’s Ready.
As for Salman, the big hearted actor has not been behind in showering favors on Kangana. When Kangana was marketing her ‘Tanu Weds Manu’, he called the channel heads of Colors and Sony to drum support for the film on the channel’s daily soaps and reality shows.

Meaning, I'm informed that this Hazel gal was the only heroine who made her presence felt at his Holi party at his farmhouse on Sunday morning. Now, before you wonder if the Dabangg dude didn't invite any of his other major heroines, my washerman asserts that he had in fact... But for some reason, best known to himself, the actor ensured that she was at his farmhouse on the dot of time.
Now, I don't mind the single Khan being ever-ready to mingle... But who is this Hazel Keech anyway? Surely I expected Sallu to be interested in a happening gal, if his ex-loves are any indication. Or is that too much to ask for, huh?

If the recent buzz is to be believed, Salman and Katrina are no longer romantically linked, but that doesn't stop them from coming together for a good cause.

The reigning queen of item girls, Katrina Kaif, will enter the Bigg Boss house to promote her next film, Tees Maar Khan. She will be accompanied by director-choreographer and Salman's latest best friend Farah Khan.
The ladies of the house, who have been asked to prepare dance performances on Munni Badnaam Hui and Sheila Ki Jawaani, have no clue that Katrina aka Sheila is the new queen of item girls. Katrina and Farah will judge the dance performances and declare the winners.

Buzz is that if Katrina is unhappy with a performance, she will surely shake her belly and teach some quick moves to the housemates.

Salman Khan the hunk with a Golden heart has gone against the wind due to his comment on the Sanjay Leela Bhansali flick Guzaarish. Recently, Salman Khan had said that not even a mosquito had gone to see the flick. Now something like this coming from a man of Salman’s stature was quite a shock for everyone connected with the flick, to say the least.
This comment made Sanjay Leela Bhansali go quite weak in the knees. Reports are that he was quite hurt as Salman Khan is amongst his best friends, and they have worked together too with the movie Hum Dil Chuke Sanam being one of the most popular hits.
Reportedly Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that if his best of friends would come out with such comments then he would rather leave the industry.
There also is Hrithik Roshan who feels that a star of Salman Khan’s stature should be humble and spread love rather than say such things which do nothing but hurt other’s sentiments. Especially considering the fact that Sanjay Leela Bhansali is such a big name in the industry, he should be respected at all costs,rrespective of the fact whether his films did well or not.
Salman Khan who is considered one of the most iconic figures in the B town industry is of course always taken seriously whenever he makes certain observations or passes any sort of comment, but with such statements one only hopes that the damages are repaired soon without much ado about the comments.
The fact that all three Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are big names in Bollywood no one would want to see them at loggerheads for such matters

Sanjay Leela Bhansali made his directorial debut movie Khamoshi: The Musical with Salman Khan in 1996. The film was a Box Office flop but went on receiving many awards. So Bhansali made his second film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999 again with Salman Khan opposite the beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. It turned out to a big Box Office hit but the same success story could not be repeated with Bhansali and Salman again in next 11 years from then.
Bhansali and Salman were in good terms till these years and both admired each other’s work until recently. There is a report that Bhansali got the idea of starting work on Guzaarish after Salman gufted him a DVD of Christopher Nolan’s ‘The Prestige’. But when the director started the film, he signed Hrithik Roshan in spite of Salman and the reason was obvious. The lost chemistry between Salman and Aishwarya led the filmmaker to look for an alternative choice.
However, this has not probably gone well with the Dabangg Khan. There is a buzz that Salman is talking all rubbish about the film as well as the director Bhansali. In a recent award function, Salman has reportedly said that even a dog will not watch Guzaarish. He was also reportedly criticizing Bhansali for not showing the respect to his earlier works and not considering him for the film.
But this sounds surprising considering another recent good gesture of the actor to Bhansali. Few days back, there was a report that Bhansali sent the film for Salman’s feedback and the actor watched it along with his family. After this special screening, Sallu also reportedly sent his positive feedback saying that the movie will start slow but will do well later because of the word of mouth.
Now, what happened in this short gap that he has turned hostile towards the film and the director? Well, the truth is known either by Salman or Bhansali so until they come out with a clarification on this incident, none can provide the real picture

Salman Khan’s career seems to have taken an upswing for the better after the super success of Wanted and Dabangg. He has numerous projects coming his way, and one of his upcoming films is Prem Soni’s I Am Hariprasad.

Soni, whose directorial debut Main Aur Mrs. Khanna (MAMK) was a disaster, seems to have made a good enough impression on Salman to cause him accept his second venture as well. But the buzz is definitely around the female lead of this film. Priyanka Chopra was the first actress considered for MAMK, but after she refused, Kareena Kapoor was given the role. Reports also stated a tiff between Sallu and Piggy Chops for this reason. Now the news is that Soni is still keen on Priyanka and would be signing her up opposite Salman. And this time it’s not a love story he has to offer. I Am Hariprasad is supposedly the story of a Godman with loads of masala, drama and entertainment.

Let’s hope that after great performances together in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Salaam-e–Ishq and God Tussi Great Ho, the audiences get to see these two fab actors onscreen together again.

Mumbai: Sonakshi Sinha might be just one film old in Bollywood but she is already laying down conditions and making sure she doesn’t miff her mentor Salman Khan in anyway. The actress, whose career decisions are largely taken by Salman, has told the makers of ‘Race 2’ that she under no conditions would don revealing clothes or do any bedroom scenes for the film.
 

Confirming the news, a source told a daily, “It’s like a clause. Sonakshi was polite but clear that she won’t expose in ‘Race 2’. The first version of the ‘Race’ series was quite steamy. But the second version is even steamier. Sonakshi was told about this, so she laid down her cards on the table.”

What’s more is that Sonakshi has refused to fall the age old trick where the directors state that such explicit scenes are necessary as the script demands it.

“It goes without saying that Ms Sinha will not perform any lovemaking or smooching scenes in the film. Adjustments have been made to suit Sonakshi, who was being considered for the film for quite some time. Knowing her Indian image and shy nature, this was more or less expected. The producer of the film, Ramesh Taurani, and the directors, Abbas-Mustan, are very happy to have her on board,”
