Mumbai, Aug 22 (IANS) Putting to rest all rumours about their alleged tiff because of Salman Khan's upcoming film "Bodyguard", actresses Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were seen quite elated in each other's company at the grand finale show of the Lakme Fashion Week.
It was reported that Kareena was miffed with Katrina for hogging all the limelight in her film "Bodguard" by doing an item number in it. But the two actresses looked quite compatible and friendly at Sunday night's event, where Kareena was the showstopper for designer Manish Malhotra and Katrina was a guest.
The comfort level between the two stars became evident when Katrina stepped on the ramp at the end of the show to shake a leg with Kareena and Manish. Even after the show, the two were spotted holding hands and enjoying each other's company.
When asked Kareena whether she considers Katrina her friend, the 30-year-old replied: "Of course she is my friend. Why is it this question even being asked?"

Imran Khan and Katrina Kaif are all set to rock at the box office. One of the most awaited romantic filck from the Yash Raj banner, is all set to release this September.

Rumors were rife that Salman Khan had been offered a romantic film by Yash Raj Films opposite Katrina Kaif. However, Salman doesn’t seem too keen on doing the film owing to the frugal amount offered to him for the role. Even working with her ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif too doesn’t seem an incentive too lucrative for him.
Meanwhile, Katrina Kaif Features on the covers of the makeover issue of Vogue Magazine’s Indian Edition for the month of May 2011. In the issue, Kaif talks about her way to Bollywood star from unknown girl of ‘Boom’. We wonder how much credit she gives for her success to Salman Khan.

Katrina Kaif rocked the nation with her sexy avatar in ‘Tees Maar Khan’ and especially her item song ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’. Now, the actress will be seen in a role in dire contrast to what she played in TMK. This Prakash Jha film titled ‘Satsang’ will see Kats as a woman clad in an ochre robe and in search of spirituality. This upcoming film exposes the multi-billion global religion factory in India.
Her role in Satsang is so complex that even Jha was not sure, initially, if the actress could deliver. “It would be the most challenging part of my career so far,” says Katrina.
She plays the central character in the film which is semi-autobiographical in nature and is that of a woman from the West in search of Oriental spiritualism. Katrina will be seen sans makeup for the film and will have to get informed on the intricacies of the multi-billion religious industry in India.”
Katrina is already geared up for the role and says, “Prakashji and I have discussed the part in detail. This is one film that I’ve do the most preparation for. I’m open to the challenge.”

Katrina Kaif had at least three offers in her kitty to perform at events this New Year and if buzz is to believed, one was as high as Rs.Three crores but the hottie has turned all of them down . Kats is in the mood to travel. She wants to take time off, post her forthcoming release with Akshay Kumar.
Katrina has already planned her vacation and is eager to take a long break from tinseltown. She wants to spend quality time only with her family members and close friends with whom she has not bonded in a long time.
It is learnd that Kat will first travel to London to begin her New Year. She, accompanied by her mom, will travel to her philanthropic organization at Madhurai. Joining them will be Kat’s sister, Isabel.

'Sheila Ki Jawani' is showing no signs of waning as Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif has been named the Sexiest Woman in the World for the third year in a row, beating off competition from her contemporarieslike
Freida Pinto and Priyanka Chopra. The actress whose moves in the hit dance number earned her plenty of fans, topped London based newspaper Eastern Eye's list of the hottest women in the world.
The star of one of the year's biggest hits Raajneeti and hotly anticipated Christmas release Tees Maar Khan is excited about the hat-trick.
"I'm very happy that I have made it to the top of Eastern Eye's list again. England is off course a very special place to me and I think it's very sweet to be voted the sexiest by them. I just want to thank everyone for the support," said the 26-year-old actress.
The actress who reportedly split from on-off boyfriend Salman Khan this year, came out on top of the survey conducted by the newspaper, Britain's only national English language weekly serving the whole Asian community in the UK.
The list was calculated on the basis of the most photographed women in the world and the most in-demand with film producers and fans.
"Although Bollywood heroines dominated the top 10, the list for 2010 included stunning beauty pageant winners, top actresses from around the world, pop stars and TV personalities. That is why Katrina should be deservedly proud of her amazing win," Eastern Eye showbiz editor Asjad Nazir said.
Priyanka Chopra narrowly missed out on the top spot by finishing second for the second year in a row. Pakistani actress Mehwish Hayat came eighth, a spot behind Kareena Kapoor.
Bipasha Basu occupied the third spot and Freida Pinto, India's most popular export to Hollywood only managed a fourth position, while Lara Dutta rounded off the top five.
Katrina Kaif was born in Hong Kong to a Kashmiri father and British mother. She spent her childhood in Hawaii and later moved to England.
She first came to the notice of filmmaker Kaizad Gustad while she was modelling for a jewellery campaign in London and that led to her break in Bollywood in the film Boom.

The media, however, are already speculating on the situation which may arise with two warring ladies on the sets of the Housefull sequel. Moreover, Katrina Kaif has reportedly been given a more prominent role in the film when compared to that of Deepika Padukone’s.
